IVR Lab is committed to strengthening the work of organizations that serve the public good. Our mission centers on improving accessibility, reducing health disparities, and expanding participation in community-driven research and outreach. The financial support programs outlined on this page are an extension of that mission and are designed to help qualified organizations continue important work when budgets fall short. Our full mission statement is available at https://www.ivr-lab.com/ivr-lab-mission-statement.
Publicly funded institutions operate under fixed budgets and strict accountability requirements. Research departments, public health agencies and community-serving organizations often face constraints that limit their ability to pursue new initiatives or adopt innovative tools even when those tools provide significant benefit to the populations they serve. IVR Lab recognizes these challenges and has established formal support programs to help reduce financial barriers for eligible projects.

Our approach balances community commitment with responsible stewardship. Each program has been designed to align mission benefit with internal governance so that IVR Lab can provide meaningful assistance without compromising sustainability or compliance. This ensures that support is offered in a structured and consistent manner. Organizations that wish to be considered must complete the application form linked on this page so that our advisory board can evaluate eligibility and impact.
These programs are available only to nonprofit and publicly funded groups whose projects advance research, public health, education or other community-focused work. They are not intended for commercial initiatives. Support is determined based on mission alignment, documented need and available internal funding.
Rebates Program
IVR Lab may provide structured rebates that reduce the total amount due for eligible projects. These rebates reflect instances where IVR Lab elects to absorb a portion of its own fees in order to help a mission-aligned initiative proceed. Rebates are applied only after a review of project scope, public benefit and documented budget limitations.
R&D Billing Allocation
Certain projects involve custom development that has long-term value for IVR Lab’s broader research and technology roadmap. When internal review determines that elements of a project’s custom work can be reused for future clients or internal innovation, IVR Lab may reassign those development costs to its R&D budget. This reduces the amount billed directly to the organization and allows us to invest in shared advancements that support multiple stakeholders.
Community Investment Fund (CIF)
The Community Investment Fund provides direct financial support for qualified organizations with documented funding shortfalls. Awards typically range from $2,000 to $100,000 depending on project size, community impact and the fund’s annual availability. CIF support may be applied to bridge up to 30 percent of the portion of the project delivered by IVR Lab. CIF is reserved for initiatives that demonstrate clear alignment with our mission and serve the public interest.
What These Programs Can Support
Rebates, R&D Billing and CIF may be applied only to IVR Lab’s services, including automated outreach, IVR administration, platform operations, integration and related professional services. Support applies exclusively to the IVR Lab portion of the project and cannot exceed 30 percent of that amount.
What These Programs Cannot Support
Funding cannot be used to offset third-party licensing fees, institutional overhead, unrelated services, partner vendor costs or any component of the project that falls outside IVR Lab’s scope. Assistance is limited to reducing or offsetting costs directly associated with IVR Lab’s work.
Shortfall Policy
IVR Lab will invoice its full service fees, however approved funding support may reduce the portion of those fees that the organization is responsible for paying. Any support applied is subject to the program’s maximum allowable percentage and is reviewed on a case by case basis. All determinations are made at the discretion of IVR Lab and its advisory board.
