This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on IVR Lab’s public website, including analytics, functional services, and geographic tracking restrictions.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy describes how IVR Lab, LLC (“IVR Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the public website at www.ivr-lab.com, including public contact forms and SmartAgent chat.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Information processed for customers through separately contracted applications and services is governed by those agreements and, where applicable, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).

2. We Do Not Sell Customer Information

IVR Lab does not sell customer information or client data. We do not sell customer records or information collected through contracted services to advertisers, data brokers, or other businesses.

On our public website, certain third-party analytics, advertising, and business-identification tools may receive technical identifiers and browsing information. Some privacy laws may treat qualifying disclosures through such tools as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no payment is involved. Applicable visitor rights are described in Section 8.

3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website or service. We may also use scripts, pixels, tags, and browser storage to support functionality or collect technical information.

These technologies can be first-party (associated with IVR Lab or its subdomains) or third-party (associated with an external service). Some expire after a browsing session; others remain until their expiration date or are deleted by the user.

SmartAgent, accessibility and forms

IVR Lab SmartAgent is our proprietary, internally developed chat system at smartagent.ivr-lab.com. Cookies or other browser identifiers may be used to maintain chat sessions and conversation continuity. EqualWeb supports website accessibility controls. Some contact forms are delivered using Jotform and may incorporate Google reCAPTCHA.

Analytics and performance

Google Analytics 4 provides website traffic and engagement measurement. Microsoft Clarity and Mouseflow help us evaluate website usability, including session insights, heatmaps, or session replay. These technologies may process browser identifiers, interaction events, device details, and website activity.

Marketing and B2B identification

LinkedIn Insight supports advertising and campaign measurement. Albacross helps identify organizations visiting our website and understand business interest in our services. Albacross may collect or process IP addresses, technical identifiers, and website activity and may use information for additional business-identification and advertising purposes as described in its privacy policy. Certain Google advertising measurement endpoints may also be used in connection with our marketing stack.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage certain analytics and marketing technologies. Tag Manager is a delivery mechanism; individual services may place their own cookies or use other identifiers.

5. Examples of Cookies and Identifiers

Additional cookies may be created by third-party services when their features are displayed or used.

6. Geographic Restrictions and IP Geolocation

We use a locally hosted IP-country database to estimate the country associated with a visitor’s IP address. This lookup is performed on our server; the lookup itself does not send the visitor’s IP address to DB-IP.

We have configured Google Tag Manager to restrict designated analytics and marketing tags, including Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Mouseflow, LinkedIn Insight, and Albacross, when visitors are identified as being in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

Those same designated tags are suppressed when our tag-management logic detects a browser Global Privacy Control signal. If a country lookup fails or cannot determine a country, the geographic check does not authorize those tags. These restrictions apply to the designated GTM-controlled tags, not necessarily to third-party scripts loaded by other website features.

Country estimation is approximate and may be affected by VPNs, network routing, or other technical factors. Essential website functions and requested services may continue to operate.

Geolocation data source: IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

7. U.S. State Privacy Considerations

Depending on the state privacy laws applicable to IVR Lab and to a visitor’s information, some website disclosures may be subject to laws governing targeted advertising, sharing, or the sale of personal information. Our no-sale business commitment is described in Section 2.

Our location-based and GPC-based tracking restrictions are intended to limit certain disclosures. They do not, by themselves, determine whether a particular law applies or replace every privacy right or opt-out mechanism that may be required under applicable law.

8. Your Choices

Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and clear site data. Restricting essential or functional cookies may affect chat, forms, or other website features.

Global Privacy Control

Where a supported browser exposes a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to our tag-management logic, the designated GTM-managed analytics and marketing tags are suppressed. Other embedded services may operate under their own controls.

Provider and industry opt-outs

Some providers offer additional choices:

Privacy requests

To inquire about or exercise rights available under applicable law, email privacy@ivr-lab.com with the subject Privacy Choices. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law. We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. Retention and Security

Cookies may be session-based or remain for longer periods according to the provider and the purpose. Related website information is retained for reasonable operational, analytical, security, business, and legal purposes. Third-party providers may use different retention schedules, which are addressed in their own policies.

We take reasonable measures to protect website information, although no system can guarantee complete security.

10. Children and Policy Updates

Our public website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through website tracking.

We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, operational practices, or applicable requirements change. The last-updated date at the top will be revised when the policy is changed.
